98.6 degrees? (Normal?)

When your temp is 97.0 degrees, does this mean you have some type of sickness? Can this be a normal temp for a 60 yr old?

Your temp fluctuates throughout the day.
It's usually lower in the morning and higher in the afternoon. Anything over a 100 is a fever which could mean you have an infection. If it's always 97 you possible could have a thyroid problem. But everyones body temp is different. 98.6 is the average.
